The Toolkit

Get We are thrilled to officially announce the release of the Pre-Application Mentorship Scheme Toolkit, a resource that a passionate and hardworking team has been developing for a long time. This toolkit has been meticulously crafted to support prospective applicants from Africa and beyond in their journey to the University of Cambridge.

This toolkit covers everything from writing an impactful personal statement and creating a compelling resume to understanding the do’s and don’ts when approaching references. It also provides clear steps to navigate scholarship applications, highlights how to choose courses that align with your goals, and outlines essential requirements you need to meet.

Additionally, we’ve identified common mistakes and potential landmines that applicants often face, ensuring you are well-prepared to avoid them.

Dear Aspirant,

This year, we want to ensure that the experience is smooth, enriching, and fair for all participants. To achieve this, we've set forth some essential guidelines for booking your spot:

  1. Regional Restriction: You're allowed to book a session specific to your region in Africa. This ensures that the guidance you receive is tailored to the unique challenges and aspirations relevant to your regional context.

  2. One Spot Per Participant: Given the popularity of our sessions and to maintain the integrity of our program, each participant is entitled to book only one spot. The material and guidance provided in each session will be consistent across all dates.

  3. Session Dates: Please note that all regional sessions will occur simultaneously. Our mentorship sessions will run on the following dates:

    • 19 October 2024

    • 26 October 2024

    • 02 November 2024

    • 09 November 2024

SELECT JUST ONE DATE & ONE REGION - Based on your availability.
