Nathan is a 4TH Year PhD student at the Cambridge Judge Business School and is at the forefront of academic discourse with his research on the strategic management of creative ecosystems, specifically in the fashion industry. His unique study, titled A Process and Performance Approach to Style in the Fashion Industry, delves into the intricacies of organisational style and the strategic decisions that shape stylistic choices in this dynamic sector. 
 
Prior to his current PhD, Nathan had a track record of academic excellence. He completed a Master of Philosophy in Innovation, Strategy and Organisation from the University of Cambridge (Magdalene College), where he was honoured with the Standard Bank Africa Chairman’s Scholarship by Magdalene College. His academic prowess was further recognised with the prestigious Mandela Rhodes Scholarship for his Master of Social Science Degree from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He also holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Lagos, where he honed his skills in utilising Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis for Qualitative Research.
 
Nathan is inspired to contribute toward the business development of creative industries, including the arts, media, fashion, and photography. As his academic career evolves, he hopes to facilitate the digital innovation and agility of small and medium-scale enterprises. He currently serves as the President of the Cambridge University Charity Fashion Show (CUCFS). He excels at aesthetics, digital design, and branding. He also has experience in hosting events, program management, and strategic management. Here in Cambridge, he has served as the 2023/2023 president of the African Society, where he successfully organised the 3-day Cambridge Africa Together conference, the biggest student—and cultural-led conference in the institution.​​​​​

Abii-Tah Bih is a PhD researcher in Politics and International Studies. Her Doctoral Thesis investigates the transnational interactions between forcibly displaced persons in intrastate conflict contexts. She draws examples from the Anglophone crisis in Cameroon to understand how diaspora-IDP interactions might implicate a revised theorization of both groups socio-political agency and their influence in de-escalating and/or escalating conflicts. Her field studies required ethnographic studies in refugee, IDP, and diaspora communities in Nigeria, Cameroon, the US, and UK.

Prior to commencing her PhD, Abii-Tah completed an MPhil in Cambridge and her thesis investigated the comprador and casualty roles that pioneer Cameroonian political elites navigated in the face of neocolonial policies. As an undergraduate, she conducted field studies in India on the merits of participatory governance methods on rural Indian women - a part of the James Madison Leadership program at Michigan State University. 

Outside of research, Abii-Tah is an advocate for survivors of conflict and violence. During her PhD field studies, she launched the Faces of Audacity initiative that educated and/or socio-economically empowered over 150 displaced persons in Cameroon and Nigeria. In Cambridge, she provides academic assistance to students with disabilities, served as student coordinator at the Center of Governance and Human Rights, and volunteered at the Center of African Studies as co-chair of the seminar series on the international politics of armed groups. In her free time, Abii-Tah loves to swim, hike, and spend time with loved ones.​​​

Belinda is a PhD candidate in the Cambridge Biosciences Doctoral Training Programme. Her research focuses on the development of heterobifunctional molecules using the consensus tetratricopeptide repeat (CTPR) protein scaffold. These engineered molecules are designed to couple target-binding ligands with autophagy-targeting ligands, facilitating the recruitment of endogenous degradation pathways for targeted protein degradation. Through her work, she seeks to degrade alpha-synuclein and tau, proteins implicated in the pathogenesis of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases, respectively. This approach aims to overcome the challenges associated with targeting these traditionally undruggable proteins, offering promise for developing novel therapies and powerful tools for biomedical research.
 
Prior to her PhD, Belinda earned an MSc in Pharmacology from the University of Oxford. Her master’s thesis involved the in cellulo and in vivo characterisation of a genetically encoded fluorescent reporter of the Unfolded Protein Response, a proteostatic mechanism implicated in neurodegenerative conditions. During her extended stay at Oxford, Belinda further explored neurodegeneration by investigating antibody responses to different isoforms of tau, utilizing cellular models including primary and immortalized cell lines, stem cells, and brain organoids. Originally from Ghana, Belinda holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. She subsequently worked as a registered pharmacist in Ghana, delivering comprehensive patient care in both community and hospital settings. Beyond her academic pursuits at Cambridge, she was the Head of Logistics for the 2023/2024 Cambridge Africa Conference, a three-day event aimed at fostering discussions on unity, purpose, and progress within the African continent and its diaspora. Belinda is an avid reader and music enthusiast, finding balance through creative outlets.
